Frequently asked questions

Does this create a translated PDF?

No. Version one provides original and translated text and downloads the translation as a TXT file.

Can it translate scanned PDFs?

Yes. Pages without usable embedded text are rendered and recognized with OCR before translation.

Does it preserve the original layout and fonts?

No. The tool preserves page order in text form, not the visual PDF layout.

Is every page sent for OCR?

No. Pages that already contain usable selectable text are not sent for OCR.
